The Franchise Strategy report was finalised and presented by Farrah Rose at the Malta Franchise Conference. This one day event was  hosted by Malta Chamber of Commerce and was attended by representatives from over 100 SMEs and business intermediaries, the President and the Chairman of Malta Chamber of Commerce and the Chairman of Malta Enterprise, the Commonwealth Secretariat and Head of HSBC Malta.

The Conference which was addressed and concluded by the Minister of Finance, Mr Tonio Fenic, in Valletta on 12th October, highlighted the need for further funding and knowledge transfer to this vibrant and economically fast growing island. Implementation programmes were recommended by The International Franchising Centre and agreed by Malta Enterprise to tackle the knowledge transfer to local SMEs in the coming months.
